THE IMPACT OF ECONOMIC POLICIES ON EQUITY AND SOCIAL PROGRESS IN VIETNAM

Abstract

The Vietnamese and global economy are undergoing a period of significant transformation, driven by technology, political developments, and national institutional and policy frameworks. The living standards of people in each country differ, yet Vietnamese citizens are increasingly cared for, enjoying a prosperous and happy life, achieving equity and social progress. This is the positive outcome of major economic decisions and policies implemented by Vietnam during 2015-2025. In the following article, after reviewing the theoretical foundations of equity and social progress, the authors assess how Vietnam’s economic policies in the 2015-2025 period have impacted equity and social progress, and from there proposed solutions to adjust and improve economic policies in the future.
